About the Nusantara Youth Forum
The Nusantara Youth Forum 2025 is an initiative aimed at providing a platform for youth from across the Nusantara region, including Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, and Singapore, to come together, discuss, and share ideas on important issues that impact the future of youth in social, economic, cultural, and political spheres. This program promote a spirit of unity among the countries in the region through dialogue and collaboration in youth development.

YAB Dato’ Sri Haji Fadillah bin Haji Yusof is the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia and the first leader from Sarawak to hold the role. He also serves as Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation. A Member of Parliament for Petra Jaya since 2004, Dato’ Sri Fadillah is known for his dedication to national unity, youth empowerment, and sustainable development, making him a key figure in shaping Malaysia’s future.

YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz is Malaysia’s current Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry and a Senator in the Dewan Negara. A respected technocrat and former CEO of CIMB Group, he brings over 20 years of experience in finance and leadership. Tengku Zafrul previously served as Minister of Finance during the COVID-19 pandemic, steering Malaysia through economic recovery. He is passionate about sustainable development, youth empowerment, and driving Malaysia’s global trade and investment potential.
